About the photographer
Johan Evert is a wildlife photographer based in Nelspruit, on the doorstep of the Kruger National Park. His work has appeared in Wild Planet Photo Magazine, including the winning image for International Primate Day, and his connection to wildlife runs beyond the lens — in 2017 he planned and drove support for a 2,100 km charity cycle from Durban to Cape Town in aid of Save the Rhino.
